Her story
A singer from La Paz, Baja California Sur, who has spent more than a decade on stage beside one of the great voices of Mexican music.

América Libertad grew up in La Paz and sang in public for the first time at ten, on the main stage of the city's carnival. As a teenager she sang with a show band at private parties and town festivals, and later studied performing arts at the University of Guadalajara.
In 2013 she reached the live shows of La Voz México as a finalist on Alejandra Guzmán's team. A few months later she joined the backing vocalists of Marco Antonio Solís — and in May 2016 sang “La Pareja Ideal” with him as a duet in Mexico City's Zócalo, at the free concert for his forty years on stage.
She writes her own songs — “Farsante” and “Tres Veces” with Manuel Bringas, “Mi Ángel” in 2024 — and in 2025 was a featured voice on the symphonic album Brava. Between tours she lives and sings in Baja California Sur.
